This course will be narrowly focused on just the Information Security field, which is related to Computer Science (CS). This course will give a wide introduction to the multidisciplinary area of CS Information Security.
Some of the objectives covered are Network Security, Threats, Vulnerabilities, Application Security, Data Security, Host Security, Access Control, Identity Management, Cryptography, Compliance and Operational Security.
The course will also give an overview of standards in this area, and different fields of research.

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and have documented skills in English language. Good knowledge in English, equivalent to English 6.
