Specific entry

Minimum 120 ECTS of university studies including 60 ECTS in the areas of computer science or systems science, business administration or equivalent.
Good command in english IELTS 6,0 or TOEFL 550/213/79 (paper, computer or internet)

Course Aim

The student will after the course be able to:

  • analyze Enterprise Architecture frameworks with regards to information security
  • analyze and design e-Services from an information security perspective
  • analyze, evaluate and reflect upon different information system (IS) concepts and theories and apply different perspectives when characterizing issues


The course covers analysis and design of e-services with support from Enterprise Architecture framework, information security, and IS concepts and theories.


Teaching is in English and on Internet for distance students or at campus for the students living here. IT support: Learning management system (Fronter), e-mail and phone.

The student will during the course also learn to search for and value knowledge/research results, and follow the latest development within different research areas. In this way, the student will identify further individual need to acquire more knowledge on the topics covered by the course. The student’s ability to cooperate with other students can also be practiced during the execution of the group assignments.

The course will also be graded using the ECTS grading system.
Students who have failed an examination on five occasions will not be allowed further attempts.

Technical Requirements: access to PC with Windows XP, microphone, Web cam and permission to install software. Internet connection (minimum 0,5 Mbps). Students must register to the courses themselves or contact the IES educational administration not later than 5 days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This also applies to the students with a place guarantee.
