Course Aim
The course will give each student knowledge about numerical methods to solve partial differential equations (PDEs), and ability to use Matlab to implement the calculations.

Contents
Finite differences, finite elements, and spectral methods to solve elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic PDEs.

Realization
Lessons and exercises, or reading course and exercises.

Examination
Solution of exercises. In addition, a written examination for higher grades than 3.

Remarks
The exercises demand a basic knowledge of Matlab.
