Course Aim
The course gives the students opportunity to obtain knowledge about creativity, creation, design, and aesthetics by exercises, assignments and studies of basic principals. After the course the students should be able to create ideas to practice in the creation work.

Gestalt, form giving, semiotics, aesthetics, creativity and color analysis

Lectures are mixed with assignments. Theories are practiced as individual assignments and group assignments. Assignments are presented in seminars or as hand in assignments. Oral presentations with discussion and reflection. Active Architects are guest teachers in the course and in one of the assignments as discussion partner.

Grades are based on how the assignments are done and presented.  All assignments are presented in class. Assignments must show that the student has learned and understood the aim with the assignment and can present the process and have reflections on the result..

Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration, not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.
