Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language + Swedish upper secondary school courses Physics 2, Chemistry 1, Mathematics 4 (specifik entry A9). Or: Swedish upper secondary school courses Physics B, Chemistry A, Mathematics E (specifik entry 9)

The selection is based on final school grades or Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test.

Course Aim
Students will after the course have knowledge in free hand drawing for visualization and communication in the field of Architecture. The student will know how to draw 1-, 2- and 3-point perspective and understand how to use light and shadows in drawings. Students will after the course know basic perspective drawing.

Training in drawing o understand to understand eye levels, perspectives, proportions, shortenings, lighting and shadowing
Technique training.

Sketching techniques. Presentation of materials and techniques for sketching Lectures and practical training with supervising individual and in groups. In the course a number of assignments have to be done. The assignments can be partially done during lessons but must be completed as home work. Active architects are used in the course as guest teachers. Presence is mandatory.

Approved assignments. Presence in classes. Marks U, G#

Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration , not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.
