The course contains an overview of the area of communication and the Internet in a non-technical way.

The course explains the communication between information systems, or between information systems and hardware. The students gains knowledge of protocols, code standards, transmission media, networks and network equipment and communication using Internet, telephone and mobile devices. How to deal with security risks in communication is of great importance.
