
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
This course gives a basic overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications. Specifically, it provides basic knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, robotics, reasoning, medical neuroscience, psychology, cognition, as well as design skills to structure experiments. Learn how to analyze data and design AI applications for practical use. Moreover, various aspects concerning AI ethics and governance will be addressed. How can AI affect our social life? What is ethical in AI and what is not? How can decisions be made in an AI environment? Who is responsible when an accident happens? How can we reach a self-sustainable AI ecosystem benefiting our society? How can AI fight inequality and improve gender equality?

Entry requirements
In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and have documented skills in English language. Exemption for Swedish A and B / Swedish 1-3. +
Swedish upper secondary school courses Mathematics 3b or 3c, Mathematics C.
Selection
The selection is based on final school grades or Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test.
