In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and Approved course Improvisation I B J/R.

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.



Course Aim
To give basic theoretical and practical skills in improvisation.

Contents
Scales, chord progressions, repertoire, improvisation techniques, and transcriptions and etudes.

Realization
Lessons and self-instruction.

Examination
Continuous accounting for prescribed tasks.

Remarks
The student must have shown a high level of musical ability in order to obtain the grade Pass with distinction. See the detailed instruction for the course!
