Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and Approved 30 hp at the instrument.

Selection

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.



Course Aim
To develop stylistic as well as free improvisation on the instrument.

Contents
Improvisation in different styles.

Realization
Each course occasion´s language and form is stated and appear on the course page on Luleå University of Technology's website.
Individual teaching, group teaching, and individual studies.

Examination
If there is a decision on special educational support, in accordance with the Guideline Student's rights and obligations at Luleå University of Technology, an adapted or alternative form of examination can be provided.
Continuous assessment at lessons.
Final test, where the examinee shall perform improvisations after given models, and a free improvisation.

Remarks
The institution must have written notice of the choice of instrument at the set date when courses are chosen.
