More information about English language requirements SelectionIndividual ranking based on submitted material specified under Entry requirements.Selection groupAlternative: 100% Course Aim The aim of the course is through music from different epochs acquire knowledge about the interpretation of repertoire in a very high artistic level.Contents Led by eminent musicians and pedagogues, the student will be working with interpretation of repertoire from different epochs within art music adapted to the student´s instrumental level and skill. The teaching will be done in Masterclasses. Ensemble (violin, viola, cello) may occur. The course is organized in cooperation with "The Music Festival in Piteå". During Festival Week, concerts at lunchtime are given regularly which students might participate in. This is initiated and decided by the teacher.Realization The course takes place June 15-21 2018, at Framnäs Folk High School in Piteå, Sweden.Examination Each lesson is part of the examination element and graded by the teacher. The student shall also submit a written reflection and an evaluation. In order to pass the course, the student shall be able to give account for acquired knowledge and perform the assigned tasks in accordance with the course aims.Remarks To make the work easier during the course, the repertoire that the student has chosen must be well-rehearsed and almost ready to perform in concert before the course begins.ExaminerPetter SundkvistLiterature.
