Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and Legal introduction course 15 credits (J0046N) or equivalent.

Selection

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.



Course Aim
At the end of the course the student shall be able to:
-make a legal analysis based on deepened knowledge in the area of business law.
-describe and explain the foundations of contract law.
-deal whit legal sources in the contract law area at a qualified level.

Contents
The course deals with contract law. In connection to these attention is given to standard contract law. Furthermore, legal source materials are also covered. Use of legal sources and judicial methodology is practiced. Tort and Insurance Law are also studied.

Realization
Instruction consists of lectures, seminars and group exercises.

Examination
The examination involves the following components: a written exam at the end of the course; the writing of a paper, as well as an oral presentation of a pre-decided subject. The instructor may also decide on alternative exam forms.

Remarks
Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration eduets@ltu.se,not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.
