Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and completed the course Legal introduction course (J0046N) 15 credits with at least a passing grade, or equivalent.

Course Aim
This course provides Knowledge of fundamental legal principles and current legal rules regarding real estate Training in judicial methods and argumentation

General property (real estate) law deals with questions regarding the boundaries between fixed and unfixed property, property transfers, registration procedure, grants of use and easements, mortgage, right of liens, enforcement of judgment, property rights, registration, etc.

Consists of lectures, seminars, and exercises.

If there is a decision on special educational support, in accordance with the Guideline Student's rights and obligations at Luleå University of Technology, an adapted or alternative form of examination can be provided.
Written exam at the end of the course. The instructor may decide on alternative forms of examination. Course grades: Pass with honors, Pass, or Fail.

Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration,not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.
