Batteries: from Raw Materials to Recycling

The course provides basic knowledge of battery materials and properties for a sustainable society.

The course provides knowledge about the value chain for batteries with focus on Li-ion batteries increasing in use. This includes raw materials, materials for batteries, battery properties and recycling of batteries. The course consists of lectures that can also be followed via zoom, guest lectures, laboratory work, assignments and seminars. For distance students, 1-2 mandatory are organised.
