The selection is based on 1-165 credits.



Course Aim
The student should acquire knowledge about some fields of mathematics that are important for fluid mechanics.

Contents
Vector analysis: line integrals, surface integrals, Greens theorem, Gauss theorem, Stokes theorem.
Partial differential equations: separation of variables, series of orthonormal functions, cirkular membrane.
Analytic functions: Cauchy-Riemanns equations, conformal mappings, Laurentseries, calculus of residues.
