Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and M0013M.

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.

Course Aim
The student should acquire knowledge about some fields of mathematics that are important for fluid mechanics.

Vector analysis: line integrals, surface integrals, Greens theorem, Gauss theorem, Stokes theorem.
Partial differential equations: separation of variables, series of orthonormal functions, cirkular membrane.
Analytic functions: Cauchy-Riemanns equations, conformal mappings, Laurentseries, calculus of residues.


Written exam.
