Course Aim
The intention is to:
* practice on concepts, skills and mathematical methods relevant to studies in business and economics
* become better acquainted with mathematical methods and concepts of particular relevance to studies in business and economics

Topics covered are algebra, inequalities, linear equations, simultaneous linear equations, functions (exponential functions and others), logarithms, differentiation and sums. Other topics regarded as especially relevant to the actual diploma are also covered: some examples are indices, discounted cash flows. Some statistical methods are also covered.

The basic assumption is that since mathematical skills often are forgotten, repetition is beneficial almost regardless of previous knowledge. The intention is therefore to provide an opportunity to work in one\'s own speed with the different areas. Through answering web-based question sets covering different topics, the student should get the possibility to practice and also to see what areas need further study.

The question sets are organized to provide prompt feedback. All questions in a given set should be answered correctly to pass the course. Each set can be repeated several times if needed, a period during which the student also can get support from the teacher.

The goal is that these question sets should make it possible for the student to practice in a flexible and comfortable setting.
