Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and Linear Algebra and Calculus M0030M or equivalent.

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.

Course Aim
The student shall acquire basic skills in ordinary differential equations and linear algebra.

Complex numbers, algebraic equations, the complex exponential function. Vector spaces, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, orthogonality, inner product spaces, symmetric matrices and quadratic forms. Ordinary differential equations of first and second order.

Lectures, problem solving, computer tasks.

Written examination and computer tasks.
