Selection

The selection is based on final school grades or Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test.



Course Aim
The student should after acquiring knowledge of psychiatric disabilities and addiction treatment be able to describe, discuss and reflect on and, in collaboration with medical expertise, plan and analyse in case of the above diseases. In addition, students should be able to describe current legislation in the area.

Realization
In order to reach the course objectives, the student should independently, through group cooperation and with support of the literature and lectures, work according to the instructions in the study guide. The student will receive training in written presentations and group work. All examinations are compulsory.

Examination
The achieved aims are examined through written individual examination, and through group and individual assignments. The student will be passed when all modules are passed. To receive the grade pass with distinction on the full course, pass with distinction in the written individual examination is required along with pass on both take-home examinations.

Remarks
The course is for first-cycle studies and is carried out at half-speed. Study supervision is provided in the course room in Canvas.
