Course Aim
To give the basic theory and practical knowledge of common techniques for cutting and grinding

Contents
Sawing, drilling and production of simple Cabochons, beads and facets

Realization
Lectures with distance spanning technique as well as practical work with rocks and minerals

Examination
Written exam, production of cut and polished stones.
Students who have failed an examination on five occasions will not be allowed further resits.
