More information about English language requirements SelectionThe selection is based on 1-165 credits.Course Aim After the course the student shall be able to theoretical describe and apply personnel management concerning health promotion in work organizations as well as work-related rehabilitation focusing the individuals\' condition and needs.Contents The course includes attitudes to health, illness, to be on sick leave and individual work related rehabilitation. Moreover, the course deals with stress and coping, individual conditions and needs in health promotion and rehabilitation in work organizations.Realization Each course occasion´s language and form is stated and appear on the course page on Luleå University of Technology's website. Lectures, field studies and seminars with mandatory attendance. The goal of upholding the close association to the working life is mainly done by field work at a chosen workplace and by lectures of invited guests.Examination If there is a decision on special educational support, in accordance with the Guideline Student's rights and obligations at Luleå University of Technology, an adapted or alternative form of examination can be provided. The examination of the course contains of three different seminar tasks, all of them are done in group and is about health promotion work, attitudes and the rehab-system. Two of the seminars, health promotion and rehab system will be presented both in a report and in discussions during the seminars. Physical presence and active participation is a criterion for all three seminars.Remarks Students must register to the courses themselves or contact the HLT educational administration eduhlt@ltu.se not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This also applies to the students with a place guarantee.
