Selection

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.



Course Aim
Upon completion of this course the students should be able to:

•    Analyze the demands that various situations pose on humans with respect to situation awareness, decision making, communication, teamwork, stress and fatigue.
•    Predict and evaluate risks that are due to to limitations in human behaviour and capabilities.
•    Plan and conduct a project within given time limits where collaboration and leadership are central.

Contents
  • Information processing in humans
  • Decision making, communication, and collaboration in situations that involve high risks
  • Basic leadership theories
  • The relationship between stress, fatigue and performance

Realization
Lectures, seminars and project work.

Examination
Written exam, 4,5hp. Grades: Failed, 3, 4, 5. Project work, 3hp. Grades: Failed, Passed.

Remarks
Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration eduets@ltu.se, not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.

Transition terms
Due to similar content, the course can not be included in a degree together with the course P0021A or other courses with similar content.
