Entry requirements

In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and documented skills in English language and Business Administration A including the course O0017N Management of business, M0015N Principles of Marketing, R0008N Introductory Course Accounting and Control, R0009N Models for Management Control or equivalent.

Course Aim
The aim with the course is that students should be able perform corporate analyses with use of company information from e.g. strategic, financial and accounting perspectives. Students should also be able to apply methods for corporate valuation.

The course includes analyses of company information from e.g. strategic, financial and accounting perspectives. The course introduces students into corporate analyses and valuation based on theoretical and practical instruments of relevance. Students work in small groups where they problematize, analyse and draw conclusions around a company case. Strategic and financial goals are for instance regarded in connection to business- and financial models. Valuation models are illustrated, tested and discussed.

Lectures, lessons and seminars.

Compulsory assignment report which will be awarded a pass (G) or a fail (U). A written exam enables the student to achieve a pass with distinction (VG).

Students must register for the courses themselves, or contact ETS educational administration, not later than three days after the quarter commences. Failure to do so can result in the place being lost. This rule also applies to students with a guaranteed place.
