The work in the course is as student groups that work to develop and produce a product. Work includes all stages from conceptual idea to manufacturing. The work is presented in a technical report.

The coursework primarily consists of project work involving “hands-on” use of a workshop with milling machines, etc. A small number of lectures may also be given. CAD-tools are utilized for the production of manufacturing drawings.

To pass the student must have and approved technical report and assignment that is written and produced in groups. In addition, attendance at two project presentations is necessary and an individual assignment has to be handed in and approved.
