Selection

The selection is based on 1-165 credits.



Course Aim
The course provides advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in construction of WAN networks.

Contents
Wide Area Networks, WAN technologies and related protocols, IP Quality of Service and basic network security.

Realization
The course consists of lectures and laborations. Laboration tasks are performed individually or in groups and are presented orally and/or written.

Examination
Written exam, oral or combination of written and oral exam. Compulsory laboratory assignments and practical exam. Passing the lab assignment part of the course requires a passed grade on all individual assignments. Examination can take place a maximum of three years after course registration. Students failing to pass the course will be examined according to the latest course plan.
