Selection

The selection is based on final school grades or Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test.



Course Aim
After course completion, the student should be able to demonstrate:
  • ability to independently visually shape an idea for storytelling in television, film or games
  • ability to consciously create visually strong and convincing image solutions by using known principles and components in their design.
  • ability to present their solution

Contents

Digital tools and methods

Preproduction - analysis, research and reference collection

Design - To create a visual style, identity and feeling with color and contrast, light and shadow, form and space, image composition and the dramaturgy of the image

Design - To illustrate with scripts, ideas and concepts the basic principles in visual art such as visual composition, color and contrast, light and shadow, form and space, as well as dramaturgy.

Realization
Each course occasion´s language and form is stated and appear on the course page on Luleå University of Technology's website.

Teaching takes place in the form of web-based lessons, literature studies, discussions, practical work and assignments.

Examination
If there is a decision on special educational support, in accordance with the Guideline Student's rights and obligations at Luleå University of Technology, an adapted or alternative form of examination can be provided.
Continuously examination with mandatory practical exercises and approved assignments according to schedule.
