The selection is based on 1-165 credits.

Course Aim
To give a basic knowledge in geodetic instrumentation, GPS, and the integration of geodetic data into the CAD-technique. To give the knowledge in surveying methods that may be used as tools for solving related to planning and construction. After completing the course the student should be able to plan, solve and evaluate measuring tasks in construction. This means that the student: - Knows about common geodetic reference systems and geodetic concepts. - Can use the common methods for setting out and surveying. - Can plan, solve and evaluate basic measuring tasks.

Instrumentation, Methods for elevation and planar measurements. Integration of geodetic data into the CAD-technique.

The teaching will be given as lectures and training in field. The lectures will be focused on basic theory and problem solving. The field training encompasses instrument knowledge, field measurements and data processing.

Written examination, participation in field training and problem solving related to that.
