Exhibition by students from Graphic Design at Kulturens hus

Published: 19 May 2020

On May 16 - June 3, an exhibition will be held at Kulturens hus (House of Culture) with students from the Graphic Design Programme at Luleå University of Technology. The exhibition "VIKT" comprises nine different works by students from the third year which is the final year of the programme.

The exhibition's common theme is a norm-critical perspective on current social issues. The students show how graphic design can be used, for example, to encourage second-hand consumption, as educational support for children with Downs syndrome or to recommend cheap software that can be used to create graphic design.

The students, who have all worked with individual societal issues that they themselves have identified, are Emma Sandberg, Elina Mikkola, Louise Hannu, Jasmine Wihlborg, Morgan Ström, Johanna Törnqvist Weinehammar, Andrea Stansisic, Charlie Bergkvist and Fanny Berglund.

In a film made by Kulturens hus, some of the students tell us more about their projects.

Bachelor of Arts Programme in Graphic Design at Luleå University of Technology admits students to the fall semester of 2020. Admission is open for late registration.
