Master Programme in Architectural Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. Development project 2019
The mineral exhibition at Luleå University of Technology has received a facelift designed by students in architecture and developed in cooperation with The House of Technology. The final proposal was chosen in a competition where four student proposals competed.
Linda Hartzell and Per Westermark, who study on the Master Programme in Architectural Engineering at Luleå University of Technology have won an international award for their urban design project: Climarctic Box – Which addresses the city edges to improve the city-wide microclimate.
After a course period of about 7 weeks in Master’s programme in Climate Sensitive Urban Planning and Building, it was time for the students attending the subject Climate, Landscape and Build-up areas to present their understanding on theoretical and practical fieldwork analysis and how such knowledge can be considered to develop ideas for the conceptual design development.
At the exhibition Functionalism in a new light at Norrbottens Museum a dozen proposals for the redevelopment and extension of the New Museum's main building built in 1936 are presented. The proposals are developed by students of the MSc program in architecture at Luleå University of Technology.
Digital Design & Making the name of an exciting project course in architecture now being held at Luleå University of Technology. This year full-scale pavilions are being built. The Works will be on displayed on the University campus, one already in place in the university library.
