She wants to increase security for women

As a degree project in the Master's Program in Industrial Design engineering, Linn Gerhardsson developed a waistband to prevent sexual abuse in outdoor environment. But the thesis became more than just a desk product. Today, 28-year-old Linn Gerhardsson runs the company Alarmwear. In 2019, she was awarded the SKAPA prize for young researchers in memory of Alfred Nobel.
