During the education, the students of civil engineering road and water construction come into contact with companies via guest lectures, projects and study visits where Norway has previously been a popular travel destination.

During most courses, students also come into contact with various labs in the teaching to provide practical experience of the theoretical learning.

Student trip to North Bothnia Line

This year's students in the course Rock Engineering and Rock Mechanics had the opportunity to visit an on-going construction contract in Ersmark (just outside Umeå) for the infrastructure project North Bothnia Line.

Internship evening - an event to promote contact between students and industry

On the 28th of November, the annual event for prospective interns was organized to establish contact between students and representatives from industry, but also to highlight the importance of the internship for the students.
