Tell us about Your research

My research is about how we plan, build, maintain and recycle our construction constructions in a sustainable way. My research projects concern state assessment and reinforcement of road and rail bridges, cracking risks in concrete structures, sustainable building materials and processes, as well as the development of user-friendly forecasting tools for the construction industry.

How can your students benefit from your research?

My research helps to develop the methods and processes used in the industry, and students will be able to take advantage of the latest research findings.

Do you have any advice for new students?

Choose the program and courses that you think are interesting, so the studies are easier. Be social during study time so that you build a good network of contacts both inside and outside the university. You will not regret it if you choose to study.
