Do you want to create the next generation computer game experience for the international market? After graduation, you become a computer engineer with expertise in game programming and many opportunities on the job market, even outside the computer game industry.

The education's focus on game development and game production makes you a skilled and knowledgeable programmer who is attractive on the job market. After graduating, you are guaranteed solid technical knowledge, which many other game programming courses do not offer. The unique and deep understanding in programming that you receive gives you a wider opportunity to look for jobs outside the gaming industry, for example at consulting companies.

Description

The education includes game programming courses and projects. Among the courses are AI programming, physics programming for games, graphics programming, game engine architecture, game production and a couple of game projects. You will have the opportunity to work on creative game projects, both individually and together with others. You get to work in authentic production environments and create games together with students from the computer graphics program for games and film. The collaboration means that you get to use what you have learned in a technical and creative way. At the end of the program, you do your degree project and can choose to collaborate with a company in the industry.   

Labour market

After graduation, the exciting and growing gaming industry awaits, you will have the opportunity to apply further both in Sweden and abroad. You can work at large companies in the computer game industry or at smaller indie companies. Because the education gives you solid knowledge in programming, you have great options on the job market.
