Are you interested in geotechnical and mining engineering? Do you want to have engineering tools which are important for the development of our future society? Then this two-year university programme in Civil engineering with specialization in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering will suit you!

As a student you will meet the industry both through site visits and lectures given by industry professionals. Our teachers are committed to your learning and are experts in geotechnical/mining/rock engineering, and operation and maintenance. The programme includes compulsory and optional courses, along with a M.Sc. thesis project performed in collaboration with the industry, public organisations or academy. This approach you to specialize in one of the following areas; rock mechanics and rock engineering and also soli mechanics and dams.

Entry requirements

Bachelors degree of minimum 180 ECTS with at least 60 ECTS in the area of mining technology, constructions technology or nature resource technology. At least 22,5 ECTS in Mathematics at university level is required.

Good knowledge in English, equivalent to English 6
