Welcome to the European Office of Luleå University of Technology!
Mission statement
Our mission is to strengthen the visibility, influence and international presence of Luleå University of Technology within the European Union. From our office in the heart of Brussels, we work to:
- Promote LTU at EU level: Showcase the university's excellence, research and innovation to EU institutions and other key stakeholders.
- Strengthen the University's ability to follow and influence EU policies: Actively participate in EU policy development and programs that are in line with the university's areas of strength and strategic objectives.
- Build stronger international partnerships: Promote collaborations with international actors to drive research and innovation with real societal benefits.
What we do
The European Office of Luleå University of Technology supports researchers at Luleå University of Technology by organizing meetings, events and visits. We create programs that invite key stakeholders to meet in Brussels. In addition, we offer internships for students from Luleå University of Technology.
We provide internal support for researchers at Luleå University of Technology by:
- Setting up meetings with key people in Brussels.
- Organising meetings and events.
- Providing information on EU policies and funding opportunities.
- Helping with networking and partnership development.
We provide external support for stakeholders by:
- Facilitating contacts with researchers at Luleå University of Technology.
- Organising meetings and events.
- Providing information about Luleå University of Technology's research and expertise.
- Supporting the development of joint projects and initiatives.
