Structural testing equipment and procedures

A large part of the laboratory's activities includes strength testing of various structural mechanical components in concrete, steel or other materials. MCE Lab has several fixed load rigs with capacities from 5 to 450 tons. Furthermore, there are several loose load cylinders that can be mounted in flexible load rigs for testing larger components.

Instron 4500 kN load rig

Instron 4500 kN load rig for static pressure test. Dartec 600 kN load rig for static and dynamic compressive and tensile testing. Instron 100 kN load rig for static pressure test.

• 2 pcs. MTS dynamic loading cylinder 750 kN, stroke + / - 75 mm.

Climate and storage

8 pieces of climatic and storage. It is possible to connect the hydraulic loading equipment in several of these rooms.
