The Vice-Chancellor's Research Infrastructure Council
The Vice-Chancellor's Research Infrastructure Council is one of six Vice-Chancellor’s Councils that work on behalf of, and report to, the Vice-Chancellor. The Vice-Chancellor’s Councils function as strategic-operational platforms to promote the overall goals and visions of the University and have an advisory role towards the Vice-Chancellor’s function.
The Vice-Chancellor's Research Infrastructure Council works on strategic issues relating to the University's research infrastructure work. The Council's work covers both the University's own research infrastructure and the external collaboration that the University has within the area.

The Vice-Chancellor's Research Infrastructure Council includes the following positions:
- Pär Weihed, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Chair
- Margareta Groth, Head of the Department of Engineering Sciences and Mathematics
- Glenn Bark, Director of LTU Infrastructure (LUMIA)
- Corina Etz, The University's representative in the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS)
- Mikael Sjödahl, The University's scientific coordinator for the European Spallation Source (ESS) and MAXIV
- Maria Öberg, Head of Accounting and Financial management
- Jenny Kajberg, Administrator support, Property and Service
