Dual Careers of Elite Athletes

The university has been designated as an Elite Sports Friendly Higher Education Institution (EVL) by the Swedish Sports Confederation (RF). This means that the university provides support to student-athletes to facilitate the pursuit of dual careers - elite sports and academic studies.

A student with dual careers pursues his or her elite sport to such an extent that adapted studies are desirable. The university's departments and study administration units should strive to create good conditions for elite athletes to pursue studies in parallel with their sport. The following guideline is based on RF's National Guidelines for Dual Careers.
