Alumni of the year 2015

Aula Aurora at Luleå University of Technology was well attended when this year's alumni were awarded during the afternoon. 2015's winners are: Peter Carlsson, Purchasing and Logistics Manager at Tesla, Rickard Kjellgren, high school teacher in Luleå and Grete Solvang Stoltz, HR Director at LKAB.

- It shows the intelligence of Luleå University of Technology as an organization that I finally get the award, joked Rickard Kjellgren, one of the awarded alumni.

This year's three alumni received diplomas, flowers and a glass statue of Vice-Chancellor Erik Höglund. He sees the award as a way to honor successful alumni, but also to inspire current students.

- 'It shows that your education stands up to national and international competition. It can be nice to think about when it feels hard to study," said the Pro Vice-Chancellor.
