About the company

FeRex AB is a subcontractor in welding and machining. We have international customers in forestry, the energy sector and the mining industry. We have a turnover of 140 million and 70 employees. About the assignment

Robot simulation
We have invested in a new robot welding cell ABB and need help with digital simulation of new articles. We also need to build up digital fixtures. The hope is that you will be able to manufacture articles within the framework of the summer job.

This work will create good knowledge for the student in the manufacture of components. And learn how it works to work as a production technician in an industrial company. The assignment will be shaped according to interest and personality.

Logistics development internal flows
If you do not find it interesting with robot simulation, contact us as we also have projects in flow simulation of operations. Where the focus is on improved logistics flows inside the factory. Where we need to streamline the material flow.

Thus, you have the opportunity to choose one of the two assignments within your respective field of education and competence.

We prefer that you are on site here with us at Maskingatan 10 in Byske during the summer. You will also have some opportunity to work remotely. This is done by agreement with FeRex.

Suitable educations can be

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management.
