“Learning from exchanges between different sectors”
Mirror is a full-service agency in IT and communication with over 30 employees and offices in Kalix and Luleå. Three of their employees have attended the digital study circle "Planning for successful projects", which is organized by LTU Professional Education and NorrlandsNavet.
- The course made us think about how we run projects and what we can do better. Afterwards, we have reviewed our own project management methodology and updated the model, says Robert Henriksson, business area manager
at Mirror.
- One thing I appreciated was the opportunity for exchange between different industries, to learn from each other and see what other people's challenges are, says Henrik Gren, business area manager at Mirror's office in Kalix.
The course leader is Fredrik Backlund, Associate Professor of Industrial Economics at Luleå University of Technology.
- In this course you will learn about different perspectives on successful projects, with a particular focus on the planning phase. Everyone who is involved in projects, in different roles, can benefit from the course, he says.
The course is given as an online study circle, also called MOOC+. This means that parts of the material are pre-recorded videos that course participants can access when it suits their schedule. Self-study is combined with meetings where participants can meet other professionals and discuss common challenges.
