The overall objective of the course is for the student to practice, develop and demonstrate skills in applying theory and methodology to solve unstructured problems relevant to a professional activity as a fire engineer.
The content of the thesis project is designed in dialog with the supervisor. The thesis project always contains a theoretical structure in the form of a literature study that highlights the technical area and methodology, summarized in a scientific way.
The student carries out and plans the thesis project independently with the support of the supervisor. The thesis project includes making a timetable for the entire project that is continuously monitored.
