Graphic Design – Bachelor of Fine Arts
At Luleå University of Technology, this three-year bachelor’s programme develops students’ creative and communicative approaches to form, typography, visual identity, and design processes that both respond to and challenge contemporary societal trends.
The programme combines artistic methods with practical project development and critical reflection, preparing students for professional design practice in diverse contexts.
Project Course – D0047A Project in Graphic Design
This course gives third-year students the opportunity to engage with real design challenges over approximately 20 weeks (August–January).
Working in small teams, students define the problem area, explore creative ideas, and develop solutions – both as design concepts and tangible outcomes. The course concludes with a presentation, exhibition, and reflection on both process and results.
How collaboration with your organization can work:
- Contribute real design challenges for students to explore
- Gain creative proposals and solutions based on current design methodologies and fresh student perspectives
- Brainstorm new ideas, concepts, and visual expressions to inspire further development within your organization
Students work on your briefs under the supervision of experienced teachers and design researchers – creating a meaningful learning experience for them and tangible value for your organization.
As a participating party, he undertakes to:
- Submit a brief
- A designated contact person who can answer questions from the students if necessary.
- Guest lecture on the company and/or the industry.
- Participate in a feedback seminar
