Verification of studies

Here you can request a verification regarding a former student’s completed degree or ongoing studies. Requests are handled by degree officers at Luleå University of Technology.

The university processes incoming requests promptly. To ensure accurate and efficient handling, it is important that all information is completed as thoroughly as possible.

Luleå University of Technology verifies:

Whether the student has been awarded a degree, including the type of degree obtained (e.g., Bachelor's Degree, Master of Science in Engineering), the date studies were completed and when the degree was issued.
If no degree has been awarded, we provide information about the student's programme of study and the total number of credits earned at LTU. For requests for registration and/or transcript certificates, please contact the Service Point at Luleå University of Technology instead.
