In Co-design Studio, you will engage in a hands-on, collaborative design process where you develop and refine products based on user needs and stakeholder input. This 20-week course emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and practical problem-solving. You will work in small, multidisciplinary teams, taking on different roles to simulate real-world design projects. The course challenges you to navigate project planning, resource management, and conflict resolution, all while delivering a fully developed product concept. Throughout the course, you’ll document and present your progress to your team, clients, and supervisors, refining your professional communication skills.
A key focus of the course is the co-design approach, which fosters collaboration with users and stakeholders to ensure that the product design meets their needs and expectations. The course culminates in a comprehensive reflection on the project, captured in a "White book," where you analyze your process, outcomes, and lessons learned.
Alongside the design project, you will also work on personal development by identifying key skills you wish to improve. You’ll create a development plan and engage in feedback sessions with peers and supervisors, helping you grow both professionally and personally.
This course is a unique opportunity to practice your independence, professionalism, and design expertise, preparing you for the challenges of real-world design work.
