Geochemistry

The course aims to provide basic knowledge about geochemistry, Earth's formation and fractionation and changes over time. The course covers how elements are distributed in the different Earth’s compartments and how their mobility is determined. The course focuses on the transport mechanisms of elements within and between the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. The course also contains examples of Isotope geochemistry and their geoscientific applications.
