Studio Production och Post-production for Games and Film
30 credits, course, bachelor's level, W0056E
Spring 2027
This course is about the hands-on process of creative media production practices.
You and your peers will form teams, set schedules, and execute your plan to turn your project idea into a completed production. This course also covers the final stages of creative production: polishing, testing, and releasing to the public.
As part of the year-long package at Skellefteå campus, this second course emphasizes collaboration, project management, and accountability. You’ll put workflows into practice, balance creative vision with deadlines, and learn what it takes to keep a project on track. By the end, your project will have progressed from plan to a fully realized result — setting the stage for final polishing and release in the last module of this course that guides you through finishing touches such as quality assurance, refinement, and presentation. You’ll also plan how your work reaches its audience — whether that means showcasing at festivals, releasing on a platform, or presenting a polished portfolio piece.
Along the way, you’ll develop strategies for presentation, promotion, and distribution that mirror professional practice in the creative industries.
