This is the course for those who want to develop their ability to communicate effectively in formal English to build and maintain international relationships in work and business.

Target group:
Companies whose employees need to be able to communicate orally and in writing in formal English in their professional role.
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of English equivalent to English 6 in upper secondary school.
Scope:
40 hours, 25% study rate (= 10 hours/week for 4 weeks)

About the course
The course will develop your ability to express yourself orally and in writing in formal English in the following areas: email, oral presentations and meeting discussions.
Structure
The course requires self-study, individually and in cooperation with your colleagues. You will watch recorded lectures, practise the course content and then complete examination tasks that are assessed by teachers.
Teachers
In the recorded lectures you will meet Elin Ruth, lecturer in English and subject teacher in Swedish and English, and Marie Nordlund, lecturer in English and 4-9 teacher in English, French and history.
