Introduction to AI is a basic level course that gives you without previous knowledge of the subject an understanding and insight into the area.
Prerequisites:
Basic eligibility +, Mathematics 3b/3c (area eligibility A4), or: English B, Mathematics C (area eligibility 4).

About the course
The course provides a basic overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications.
Specifically, you will learn basic knowledge about machine learning and deep learning algorithms, robotics, reasoning systems, medical neuroscience, psychology, cognition, as well as design skills to structure experiments.
In addition, you will gain knowledge on how to analyse data and design AI applications for practical use. The course also covers different aspects of AI ethics and governance.

Course structure
No mandatory meetings on campus.
Access to your own computer and the possibility or permission to have programs installed is required. Internet connection (at least 0.5 Mbps), and access to a headset with microphone and webcam.
