Introduction to EMC: Standards and measurements
The course is aimed at those who wish to increase their understanding of electromagnetic compatibility and mainly standards and measurements for EMC verification. The course introduces the EMC lab at Luleå University of Technology and prepares the participants for their own measurements in the lab.

About the course
The course provides an introduction to EMC standards and measurements for EMC testing and verification. The course starts with introductory concepts and an introduction to EMC standards. Then EMC test planning and reporting is discussed and the EMC lab at Luleå University of Technology is shown. The subsequent sections go through the four basic EMC tests: Radiated emission, radiated immunity testing, conducted emission and finally conducted immunity and transient disturbance testing.
