About the course
Java is one of the world's most widely used programming languages and this is the course for those who want to learn this object-oriented language from scratch.
You will learn:
- Using Java as a programming language
- The scientific basis for object-oriented programming and design in Java
- Create, analyse and evaluate technical solutions in terms of design and implementation of large computer programs.
- Plan and implement qualified tasks in Java
The course contains among others: Classes and objects, Encapsulation of methods and data structures, Overshadowing, Inheritance hierarchies, types, static and dynamic typing, Modularization with abstract data types, Program design with UML, Containers, Design and computation patterns, Graphical user interfaces, Documentation, Program development environments.
Structure
The 7.5 credit course is compressed into 6 training days with own work in between. Teaching is in the form of lectures and laboratory sessions. Participants are assumed to have basic knowledge of programming.
