About the course
Maintenance of a company's equipment, procedures and budget has always been important to ensure good business performance. However, it has evolved from the trial-and-error approach to modern maintenance techniques that use engineering principles to optimize a company's equipment, budget and procedures.
This three-week course introduces you to the science, management and other principles required of a maintenance technician today.
Learn basic maintenance techniques and technologies
The course begins with a thorough review of what maintenance engineering is, why it is important, when to perform it and what tools and techniques are used. The course content consists of practical and easy-to-understand examples, which you will find useful whether you are a beginner or a trained maintenance technician.
Understanding and maintaining the reliability/maintenance balance
After familiarizing yourself with the basics, you will explore the relationship between reliability and maintenance, including how to measure and evaluate KPIs. With the insights you gain, you will have an understanding of how maintenance affects reliability and production costs and the consequences of maintenance failures.
